Housing, childcare, transport, and community connection are planned, funded, and delivered in complete isolation from each other. But people don't experience life in silos. They experience it all at once. When one part becomes difficult, the pressure spreads across everything.
That's why EHF exists. We're a Community Interest Company legally required to operate for community benefit, with any surplus reinvested into the model. No hidden agenda. No exit strategy. No shareholder extraction.
We believe the problem isn't just cost it's how everything is disconnected. So we're building something different. A model that brings homes, childcare, and everyday services closer together, designed around how people actually live.
Because convenience isn't a luxury. For working families, it's essential.

We're developing a community infrastructure model that connects homes with the things around them that make life actually work — childcare, movement, green space, shared places, and belonging.

Bringing the model to life with a real project. Extensive public consultation — 5,000+ flyers distributed, a 9× increase in enquiries, a 1.6% objection rate. Not opposition, but genuine community support.

Working with local authorities, community organisations, funders, and residents to demonstrate that connected community design isn't just an idea — it's a practical, replicable framework ready to scale.
